A Touch of Nostalgia: A variety of music and nostalgia from the 40s through to the 70s, featuring big bands, jazz and rock'n'roll.

BARBARA BELL joined Curtin FM in 2000 ,having completed the Curtin FM broadcasting course. She presents a regular program on Thursday nights and sometimes fills in for Peter Waltham  . Barbara enjoys playing the music people enjoy and communicating with listeners - hopefully in a friendly and entertaining way. 

Barbara has been married to Ian for 34 years and has worked as a qualified teacher's assistant for children with special needs, a clown for the Red Cross, been a business owner and is now freelancing as ‘Barbara Bell Styling with Heart’ doing a variety of interesting styling jobs.

Hobbies include music, dancing, bushwalking, sewing, craft, squash and being a mother to her three gorgeous daughters, Melissa, Chelsea and Amber.  Barbara has also been blessed with five very energetic grandchildren (one girl and four BOYS!).
