Afternoons with Jenny Seaton - Steven Sher, our regular guest who specializes in antique jewellery joins Jenny for his monthly contribution to her show on Thursday 2nd September. Once again much of the discussion will be based on the birthstone of the month and Steven tells us that if you were born in September your birthstone is SAPPHIRE, the celestial gemstone found in all the colours of the heavens. Symbolizing truth, sincerity and faithfulness, the sapphire is a popular choice for an engagement ring. A beautiful example of a sapphire and diamond item is shown below. Our next outside broadcast is scheduled for Sunday 5th September when Alan Mannings will be broadcasting his popular "From The Vault" show live from the Father's Day Hot Rod Show at St. Patrick's Primary School in Fremantle (enter from Point Street). Please note that there is an admission charge to the Hot Rod Show of $5 for adults, $2 for children or a family charge of $10. Curtin Fm will be broadcasting from 09:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. but admission for the public is from 10:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m.
