Curtin FM 100.1 aspires to be Western Australia’s leading community broadcaster by providing programming that is informative and entertaining to the wider Perth community.
Curtin FM 100.1 via its Programming Committee is seeking calls for new Program ideas and/or segments from the community for consideration in the second half of 2021. (Please note that segment proposals will be incorporated into existing Curtin FM 100.1 Programs) Curtin FM 100.1 broadcasts 24/7 and already has a full program grid so getting a new program on air is a challenging task, as it means an existing program will have to be taken off-air or modified so we consider several types of submissions:
New On-Air Program
A new program broadcast weekly/fortnightly in a two or three hour format that can be sustainable in the long term and is relevant and of interest to Curtin FM 100.1 listeners, focusing on genres/topics not adequately covered by existing Curtin FM 100.1 programs.
New On-Air Segment
A new segment of approximately 15 minutes in duration that is incorporated into an existing Curtin FM 100.1 program where appropriate. Again relevance to Curtin FM 100.1 listeners and sustainability are the key criteria that will be used to assess program segment submissions.
